There was a rumor going around that Miley was seen out in public drunk. She went to Chateau for a meeting with Dr. Luke. The meeting ended up being late that night but there was no drinking or drugs involved. It was strictly work. She was not "stumbling" she was blinded by all of the flashing camera lights though. People don't realize how bright their flashes are and when you have several cameras going and snapping photos back to back it can be blinding especially at night. That's another reason why it is so dangerous.
I'm not sure how many of you all watched "The View" when my husband guest stared. Yes, I did just say my husband. Billy Ray and I have decided to reconcile and he has officially filed the paperwork to "cancel" the divorce. We are both happy and doing much better, the whole family is. This was a very hard and stressful time for not only Billy Ray and I but also our children and when people constantly tried to get information it made it worse. Communication was a huge issue in our marriage and even in our family, just like everyone else's. When everyone is always on the go, doing something different and never on the same page things just get out of hand. We realized that even though we had fallen apart that maybe it wasn't the best option to be divorced, and that we still had a chance of working it out. We have started working things out and like I said everything is much better. We are focusing on rebuilding our marriage and our family and we thank everyone who has given us and continues to give us support during these hard and rocky times! Our fans are truly the greatest support system and we appreciate everything you all do.
Billy Ray's GQ article was seen as bashing the family and Disney. What people don't understand is that he had done that article in December, in the midst of everything. He was angry and he was watching his whole life fall to pieces just like the rest of us. He did admit on "The View" that it wasn't the best idea to let them in and to do the interview but he did it and we can't do anything about it now. What he said was mostly out of anger. Were we upset when it first came out? Yes, of course we were because of the way he handled it and said things but you have to look at the whole picture. He was alone, it was near Christmas time and we were in the middle of filing and going through a divorce, and watching everything spin out of control. Those times were hard and December was the month we got married which didn't help at all either. He has apologized for what he said and he realizes that some of what he said came out wrong. We as a family have forgiven him and we hope that you all do too. Everyone makes mistakes, ours are just shown everywhere.
"Every Rose Has it's Thorn" will be released soon! We are excited to be releasing it, Miley and Bret both worked very hard on this song. I know she is excited to finally be able to release it as a single, since it was supposed to be done awhile ago. The reason it was never released was because when it came time to release it and everything started falling apart there were rumors going around that I had an affair with Bret. That is NOT true. I did attend a concert of his, and we had talked on the phone and through e-mails but everything was business related. When the rumors came out, we had to delay the release. We are excited that everything is back on track though. Everything has just been falling into place, in every area of our lives.
I believe that is all that really needs to be cleared up right now, I will do another blog soon. I'm going to try and do this at least once a week. My family and I would like to thank you for all of the support you have given us during all of this and the hard times. We appreciate the prayers and concerns, we are just trying to live day to day like everyone else. We are happy, and glad that things are working out and thankful that God let us see the light! We are going to be focusing on bringing our family back together and staying positive. Thank you all once again, we really do appreciate our fans and the love and support and we can't say that enough. Without you all we wouldn't be here!
